Terms and Conditions
 
*To reserve your wedding, we require an initial non-refundable deposit of £500, with a further payment of 50% of your estimated bill 12 weeks prior. We require a further payment of 75% of the estimated final bill 6 weeks prior. 100% of the final bill (less bedroom charges) to be paid 2weeks prior at the final meeting with your wedding co-ordinator along with final numbers and choices.
 
*Until a contract is signed The Comfort Clacton reserves the right to change prices and rooms without notice.
 
*The Comfort Clacton reserves the right to substitute any item with one of equal or higher value without notifying the client.
 
*The check-in time is from 2pm for overnight guests . All rooms must be vacated by 11.00am the following day. Failure to check out by 11am local time will entitle the hotel to charge an extra nights stay. Therefore, please take this into consideration should any of your guests need to get ready at the hotel, staying the night prior would be highly advisable in this instance. You will take responsibility for booking the rooms yourselves at the earliest convenience. Please quote the wedding name on booking to receive the wedding room prices.
*The Comfort Clacton reserves the right to reclaim from any client the reasonable costs of any damage incurred as a result of the actions of their guests.
*If any guest has a serious allergy to any particular food, it is the responsibility of the guest to ensure he/she does not consume any dish containing that ingredient. If they are unsure, please ask prior to choosing your menu if we can change to a different ingredient. We cannot take responsibility for special dietary requirements unless advised in advance
CANCELLATION OR REDUCTION IN NUMBERS
3-6 months in advance: 25% of the total charges
1-3 months in advance: 50% of the total charges
Within 1 month: 75% of the total charges
Within 2 weeks: 100% of the total charges
 
*The Comfort Clacton will not accept any liability for services rendered by third parties not arranged by the hotel. Any claim, demand, suit or charges which may be incurred shall be made directly with such third parties.
 
*You are recommended to take out wedding insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment and loss of baggage, personal effect and money. The hotel is not responsible for the safety of such items.
 
*The hotel reserves the right to refuse a client, guest or representative entry or accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the hotel may terminate the booking, stop any event immediately and/or ask the client to vacate the premises immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.
 
*Confirmation of a booking by the client is deemed acceptance of these terms
